Travel Support Team/Reservationist

Description: The Travel Support Team serves as the front line for assisting pilgrims with their reservations, travel details, and post-booking questions. You will help travelers prepare for their journey by answering inquiries, processing reservations, handling payments, and addressing logistical concerns. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist travelers with registering for pilgrimages.
  • Process payments and confirm reservations.
  • Provide information about itineraries, flights, accommodations, and travel insurance.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with last-minute changes, cancellations, and updates to bookings.

Group Leader Support Team/Sales

Description: The Group Leader Support Team builds relationships with priests, parish leaders, and organizers to coordinate pilgrimages. You will work directly with group leaders to understand their vision and help develop itineraries that meet their needs. This role combines consultative sales with relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with churches, dioceses, and Catholic organizations to promote pilgrimages.
  • Develop custom pilgrimage proposals based on client needs.
  • Guide group leaders through the planning and booking process.

Operations Team/Booking Accommodations

Description: The Operations Team handles the behind-the-scenes execution of pilgrimages. You will work with hotels, transportation companies, and other vendors to secure contracts, confirm details, and ensure everything is in place for a smooth pilgrimage.

Responsibilities:

  • Book hotels, transportation, meals, and guides for pilgrimages.
  • Manage contracts, rooming lists, and schedules.
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing and availability.
  • Address and resolve any logistical issues during the planning process.
  • Coordinate special requests (e.g., dietary needs, accessibility concerns).

Media Team/Graphics, Social Media, Webpage, Printing

Description: The Media Team is responsible for visually showcasing Canterbury Pilgrimages to current and potential clients. You will create engaging marketing materials, manage online content, and promote pilgrimages across digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design print materials such as flyers, brochures, and banners for pilgrimage promotion.
  • Create and schedule content for social media platforms.
  • Update and maintain the website with itineraries, images, and news.
  • Support group leaders with promotional graphics to market their trips.
  • Oversee branding consistency across all platforms and materials.
