Canterbury Pilgrimages shares a name with one of history’s most famous tours led by Geoffrey Chaucer. Chaucer was author of The Canterbury Tales and self-proclaimed host, tour guide, and leader of entertainment. He wrote of an informal gathering of men and women in the 14th century who traveled on a pilgrimage from London to the Cathedral of Canterbury.
In the spirit of Chaucer’s journey, Canterbury Pilgrimages brings men and women of all ages together to experience the deepening of faith made possible by an authentically Catholic pilgrimage. Having worked with 40 dioceses within the U.S., as well as over 50 cardinals, archbishops, and bishops for various pilgrimages, we try to bring you the best Catholic pilgrimage possible by coordinating everything for you. Whether you want to go to Rome, Fatima, Assisi, Lourdes, Knock, the Holy Land, or the Missions of California, we worry about the planning while you prepare your heart for renewed spiritual fulfillment.
At Canterbury Pilgrimages, we are guided by the belief that traveling to sacred places—where Christ and the saints have walked, miracles have occurred, and the roots of our faith are deeply planted—provides an opportunity to deepen our understanding of our Catholic faith and draw closer to God and one another.
Inspired by this mission, we dedicate ourselves to partnering with Catholic Priests, Deacons, Churches, Dioceses, and Catholic organizations across the globe to offer tailor-made group pilgrimages to Holy Sites around the world. With over 17,000 Catholic parishes in the U.S., we are committed to serving them all—and if you’re part of one, we’re blessed to have connected with you!
